Day 0 Kiel, Germany

Kiel is a port on both sides of the Kiel Fjord, an inlet of the western Baltic Sea, and lies at the eastern end of the Kiel Canal. Kiel has a long shipbuilding and naval tradition but today it is characterised by its vibrant student scene, laid-back lifestyle and urban flair. The city features shipping and ethnography museums, and the Institute of Marine Biology contains an aquarium. The main tourist attraction is the Kieler Woche (Kiel Week) at the end of June, an international regatta and cultural festival.

Day 2 Haugesund, Norway

Haugesund is a vibrant young city touting culture and arts festivals. Among them is the Norwegian International Film Festival or Sildajazz festival, with a mix of local and international artists. While it is possible to explore the city on foot, it may be beneficial to hire a car to see the surrounding area. Discover the Langfoss Waterfall or the Folgefonna Glacier to the north and the Preikestolen Mountains to the south.

Day 3 Shetland Island, Scotland

Shetland Islands or Shetland is a subarctic archipelago in the Northern Isles of Scotland, situated in the Northern Atlantic, between Great Britain, the Faroese Islands and Norway. Shetland's natural landscape is among the most dramatic in the world. It is also teeming with wildlife: from orcas and puffins to the famous Shetland ponies and dolphins. Invergordon is a town and port in Easter Ross, in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland. Take a short walk into the town center and you'll find impressive murals, overflowing flowerboxes, small shops, cafes, banks, and friendly people happy to have a wee chat. Included in the attractions are Cawdor Castle, Dunrobin Castle, Brodie Castle, Loch Ness and its famous monster "Nessie", Fort George,Dornoch Cathedral, Culloden Battlefield, Falls of Shin Inverewe Gardens.

Day 5 Aberdeen, Scotland

Aberdeen is a city in northeast Scotland and Scotland's third most populous city. Aberdeen is nicknamed the Granite City and is home to Marischal College, the world's second-largest granite building. The city has a wide range of historic attractions, family-friendly activities, cutting-edge architecture, captivating museums and galleries, boundless green spaces, superb beaches, dramatic coastline and more.

The city of Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark situated by the sea in the heart of Jutland. Big attractions in Aarhus include Den Gamle By is its old town open-air museum, with centuries-old timbered houses. Must-see sights, such as the Jelling Rune Stones, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are all in easy reach, as well as fjords and beaches to explore.
