Day 0 Reykjavik, Iceland

Day 1 Reykjavik, Iceland

Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is the country's capital and largest city. Day 2 Isafjordur, Iceland

The port of Isafjordur is the largest of all harbours located in the Westfjords region of Iceland. Isafjordur has a range of accommodation, restaurants and recreation for all budgets and tastes. A golf course, hiking- and biking trails, horse riding, bird watching, skiing and kayaking are all within an easy reach.

Day 3 Skagafjordur, Iceland

Skagafjordur is a deep bay in northern Iceland. It is one of Iceland‘s most prosperous agricultural regions. It has widespread dairy and sheep farming in addition to the horse breeding for which the area is famed. Skagafjordur is the only county in Iceland where horses outnumber people. There are quite many farms in Skagafjordur that offer horse shows and horse riding tours, and several large glacial rivers in Skagafjordur, who are ideal for river rafting.

Day 4 Akureyri, Iceland

Akureyri is a lively and energetic town and important port and fishing centre is nicknamed the Capital of North Iceland. Akureyri is great base for exploring the north's green pastures, fishing villages, mudpots, waterfalls, ski fields and whale-filled bays. The Northern Lights are one of the most spectacular shows on earth and can frequently be seen in Akureyri and surroundings from September through April on clear and crisp nights.

Day 5 Husavik, Iceland

Husavik is a town in Nordurþing municipality on the north coast of Iceland on the shores of Skjalfandi bay. Husavik has become a centre of whale watching in Iceland due to whales of different species that frequently enter the bay. The most famous landmark of the town is the wooden church Husavikurkirkja, built in 1907. Husavik is also home to The Exploration Museum, a museum about the history of human exploration.

Day 6 Seydisfjordur, Iceland

Seydisfjordur, made up of multicoloured wooden houses and surrounded by snowcapped mountains and cascading waterfalls obscenely picturesque, is the most historically and architecturally interesting town in East Iceland. It's also a friendly place with an international community of artists, musicians, craftspeople and students. Every visitor will enjoy outdoor activities like walkng, hiking and biking and especially snowshoeing.

Day 7 Torshavn, Denmark

Torshavn is the capital and largest town of the Faroe Islands. This is the sort of place where people still have time for each other, where people are concerned about each other and where life moves at a civilised pace. Taking a leisurely stroll down by the harbour and buying fresh fish straight from the fishermen or heading into the old part of town is experience for anyone who wants to relax in town with the capital spirit.

Portree, the main town on the Isle of Skye, is a bustling port and a thriving cultural centre in the Highlands of Scotland famous for its scenery and landscapes that will take your breath away. Portree has a pretty harbour lined with brightly painted houses, excellent leisure facilities including a swimming pool, pony-trekking and boat cruises. Fringed by high ground and cliffs and great views of the surrounding hills the town is a popular tourists' holiday destination. Belfast is Northern Ireland's capital. Day 11 Dublin, Ireland

Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland is steeped in Celtic legend, and is one of the liveliest and most historic cities in Europe. Among the many must-see highlights that the city offers is the National Museum of Ireland, which is spread out over several venues, each covering a different speciality. The famous Book of Kells can be seen in the Old Library at Trinity College, while the Christ Church Cathedral is Dublin's oldest building.
