Day 0 Southampton, England

Known as the cruise capital of Europe, the Port of Southampton is a passenger and cargo port located in the central part of the south coast of England. There are four dedicated cruise terminals at Southampton which play host to a wide variety of cruise lines. Southampton is one of the most lively and dynamic cities in the south of England. From bustling shops and marinas to seaside resorts and areas of outstanding natural beauty, the city and region have lots to offer.

Day 2 Haugesund, Norway

Haugesund is a vibrant young city touting culture and arts festivals. Among them is the Norwegian International Film Festival or Sildajazz festival, with a mix of local and international artists. While it is possible to explore the city on foot, it may be beneficial to hire a car to see the surrounding area. Discover the Langfoss Waterfall or the Folgefonna Glacier to the north and the Preikestolen Mountains to the south.

Day 3 Skjolden, Norway

Skjolden is at the end of the Sognefjord which rivals the Hardangerfjord, the longer and more famous, but they are both excellent for scenic cruising. The approach is via the picturesque Lusterfjord, close to Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier on the European mainland and ends at the foot of the highest mountains in Norway, the Jotunheimen National Park.

Day 4 Alesund, Norway

Alesund is adventure capital of the Fjords, named Norway's most beautiful city. Some of the most spectacular buildings are located around the area Brosundet, in Kongens Gate, Brunholmen and Kirkegata. After devastating fire a new town rose phoenix-like from the ashes - in the distinctive Art Nouveau style.

Day 5 Trondheim, Norway

Trondheim was Norway's first capital city, beautifully located by the wide Trondheim fjord in mid Norway. Trondheim is popular as both a cultural and shopping destination, the city's downtown core is scattered with quaint specialty shops as well as larger retailers around the pedestrian-only Nordre and Olav Tryggvasons gates.

Day 6 Andalsnes, Norway

Andalsnes is the Gateway to one of Norway's wildest and most beautiful and unspoiled regions. Surrounded by tall mountains and situated on the Romsdalsfjord, andalsnes is often referred to as "The Alp town by the fjord". The fjord town andalsnes is a great starting point for activities and excursions, from forest walks in the hilly terrain to short, steep walks to magnificent viewpoints

Day 7 Nordfjord, Norway

The Nordfjord is one of the famous fjords on the west coast of Norway, not far from the Geirangerfjord and the Sognefjord. The region encompasses the rough coastline of the Stadlandet peninsula to the Jostedalsbreen glacier, Europe's largest mainland glacier. The glaciers, fjords, sea and mountains in Nordfjord are some of the most beautiful Norwegian nature has to offer.

Day 8 Eidfjord, Norway

Eidfjord is a municipality in the county of Hordaland situated where the Hardangerfjord ends, Norway's second longest fjord. The cruise port is located in the centre of Eidfjord which makes it easily accessible for cruise passengers who want to experience the destination by foot. Eidfjord is one of the most beautifully sited towns in this part of Norway, dwarfed by sheer mountains and cascading waterfalls.

Day 9 Stavanger, Norway

Stavanger is the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. The city centre of Stavanger is quite compact, with original dockside warehouses and pretty 18th-century streets climbing up from a bustling harbour, which makes it easy to reach most attractions on foot. On your walk you can easily stop by some of the city's many museums, such as the Norwegian Petroleum Museum, Stavanger museum of Fine Arts and the Norwegian Canning museum.
