Day 0 Hamburg, Germany

Straddling the Rive Elbe, Hamburg is Germany's second largest city and is affectionately known as the Gateway to the World, thanks to its rich maritime history and its privileged position as one of the premier sea ports in Europe. Day 2 Newcastle, England

Newcastle has now re-invented itself as a cultural centre and Science City, and is possibly one of the most vibrant cities in the north of England. The North East is an area of outstanding natural beauty and home to beautiful coastlines, gardens, castles, cathedrals and the cradle of Christianity. The region is home to several UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Hadrian's Roman Wall and Durham City, as well as Alnwick Castle, known as the Windsor of the North.

Day 3 Invergordon, Scotland

Invergordon is a town and port in Easter Ross, in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland. Take a short walk into the town center and you'll find impressive murals, overflowing flowerboxes, small shops, cafes, banks, and friendly people happy to have a wee chat. Included in the attractions are Cawdor Castle, Dunrobin Castle, Brodie Castle, Loch Ness and its famous monster "Nessie", Fort George,Dornoch Cathedral, Culloden Battlefield, Falls of Shin Inverewe Gardens.

Day 4 Aberdeen, Scotland

Aberdeen is a city in northeast Scotland and Scotland's third most populous city. Aberdeen is nicknamed the Granite City and is home to Marischal College, the world's second-largest granite building. The city has a wide range of historic attractions, family-friendly activities, cutting-edge architecture, captivating museums and galleries, boundless green spaces, superb beaches, dramatic coastline and more.

Day 5 Kirkwall, Scotland

Kirkwall is the largest town and capital of the Orkney Islands of Scotland. The town has two museums, the larger being Tankerness House Museum, which contains items of local historical interest within one of Scotland's best-preserved sixteenth-century town-houses. At the heart of the town stands St. Magnus Cathedral, which was founded in memory of Saint Magnus Erlendsson, Earl of Orkney 1108-1117 by Earl (later Saint) Rognvald Kali.

Day 7 Vik, Norway

Vik is a municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway and it consists of several rural villages, Vik, Vangsnes, Arnafjord, Feios and Fresvik. It is located on the southern shore of the Sognefjorden in the traditional district of Sogn.

Day 8 Bergen, Norway

Bergen, situated between the longest fjord Sognefjord and the beautiful Hardangerfjord is a popular cruise destination and the leading cruise port in Norway. This stunning destination is home to some of the country's top museums and galleries, so it's a fantastic place to learn more about the colourful characters that helped shape Norway's history and culture.

Day 9 Stavanger, Norway

Stavanger is the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. The city centre of Stavanger is quite compact, with original dockside warehouses and pretty 18th-century streets climbing up from a bustling harbour, which makes it easy to reach most attractions on foot. On your walk you can easily stop by some of the city's many museums, such as the Norwegian Petroleum Museum, Stavanger museum of Fine Arts and the Norwegian Canning museum.

Day 10 Kristiansand, Norway

Kristiansand is the largest city in Southern Norway and attracts a lot of tourists every year. Kristiansand is a family destinations, focusing in activities and attractions for families, one of the largest if these being Dyreparken, a gigantic zoo and amusement park. Kristiansand Dyrepark is probably the favourite holiday destination for Norwegian kids.
