Located 70 miles to the east of London, Dover is one of the most modern and progressive cruise ports in the country, with highly trained personnel and award-winning customer service in England's southeastern county of Kent. The iconic White Cliffs of Dover are symbolic safeguards at Britain's closest point to continental Europe. There are frequent trains to London leaving from Dover Priory Station.

Day 3 Bergen, Norway

Bergen, situated between the longest fjord Sognefjord and the beautiful Hardangerfjord is a popular cruise destination and the leading cruise port in Norway. Day 9 Spitsbergen, Norway

Spitsbergen is the largest and only permanently populated island of the Svalbard archipelago in northern Norway. The landscape is very varied because of the geology and the climate. Near the west coast of Spitsbergen, the landscape is very alpine with pointed mountains, which gave Spitsbergen its name. The island has an Arctic climate, although with significantly higher temperatures than other places at the same latitude. The flora benefits from the long period of the midnight sun, which compensates for the polar night. Svalbard is a breeding ground for many seabirds, and also supports polar bears, the iconic symbol of Spitsbergen and one of the main tourist attractions.

Day 12 Akureyri, Iceland

Akureyri is a lively and energetic town and important port and fishing centre is nicknamed the Capital of North Iceland. Akureyri is great base for exploring the north's green pastures, fishing villages, mudpots, waterfalls, ski fields and whale-filled bays. The Northern Lights are one of the most spectacular shows on earth and can frequently be seen in Akureyri and surroundings from September through April on clear and crisp nights.

Day 13 Isafjordur, Iceland

The port of Isafjordur is the largest of all harbours located in the Westfjords region of Iceland. Isafjordur has a range of accommodation, restaurants and recreation for all budgets and tastes. A golf course, hiking- and biking trails, horse riding, bird watching, skiing and kayaking are all within an easy reach.

Day 17 Kirkwall, Scotland

Kirkwall is the largest town and capital of the Orkney Islands of Scotland. The town has two museums, the larger being Tankerness House Museum, which contains items of local historical interest within one of Scotland's best-preserved sixteenth-century town-houses. At the heart of the town stands St. Magnus Cathedral, which was founded in memory of Saint Magnus Erlendsson, Earl of Orkney 1108-1117 by Earl (later Saint) Rognvald Kali.

The harbor is an excellent starting place for excursions to the city's Old Town, as well as to the medieval castle and other historic landmarks in the area. The Old Town, which was constructed during the Middle Ages when there was a continual fear of assault, huddles high on the Castle Rock with a view over the surrounding plain below. On the other hand, the New Town is comprised of a breathtakingly beautiful series of streets, crescents, and terraces.

Invergordon is a town and port in Easter Ross, in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland. Take a short walk into the town center and you'll find impressive murals, overflowing flowerboxes, small shops, cafes, banks, and friendly people happy to have a wee chat. Included in the attractions are Cawdor Castle, Dunrobin Castle, Brodie Castle, Loch Ness and its famous monster "Nessie", Fort George,Dornoch Cathedral, Culloden Battlefield, Falls of Shin Inverewe Gardens.
