Nuuk the capital and largest city of Greenland. Day 5 Paamiut, Greenland

Paamiut, a town in southwestern Greenland, is known for its church with beautiful and distinctive architecture. It is a great place to visit for anyone who likes real snowy winter slopes and majestic wildlife. Sailing around the fjord to old villages where cabins still stand, or heading into nearby Sermilik Fjord to see glaciers that flow directly from the Greenland Ice Sheet is one of the most unique attraction to experience.

Qaqortoq is the largest town in South Greenland and popular destination for cruise ships. It has picturesque, coloured houses, great stores as well as arts and culture. Qaqortoq is well-connected with the surrounding South Greenlandic landscape that is full of adventure opportunities and the fjords around the city are popular kayaking destinations. Torshavn is the capital and largest town of the Faroe Islands. This is the sort of place where people still have time for each other, where people are concerned about each other and where life moves at a civilised pace. Taking a leisurely stroll down by the harbour and buying fresh fish straight from the fishermen or heading into the old part of town is experience for anyone who wants to relax in town with the capital spirit.

Day 11 Kirkwall, Scotland

Kirkwall is the largest town and capital of the Orkney Islands of Scotland. The town has two museums, the larger being Tankerness House Museum, which contains items of local historical interest within one of Scotland's best-preserved sixteenth-century town-houses. At the heart of the town stands St. Magnus Cathedral, which was founded in memory of Saint Magnus Erlendsson, Earl of Orkney 1108-1117 by Earl (later Saint) Rognvald Kali.

Day 12 Edinburgh, Scotland

The harbor is an excellent starting place for excursions to the city's Old Town, as well as to the medieval castle and other historic landmarks in the area. The Old Town, which was constructed during the Middle Ages when there was a continual fear of assault, huddles high on the Castle Rock with a view over the surrounding plain below. On the other hand, the New Town is comprised of a breathtakingly beautiful series of streets, crescents, and terraces.
