Day 0 Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen, the Danish capital's compact dimensions packed with cafes, shops and the best restaurants in Scandinavia are perfect for exploration on two feet or two wheels. The city's no.1 attraction, more than 100-year old amusement park Tivoli Gardens, is centrally situated a short distance west of the Central Train Station, while royal palaces Amalienborg and Rosenborg and museums like the National Gallery and the National Museum are also within the downtown area.

Day 1 Lysekil, Sweden

Lysekil is a locality and the seat of Lysekil Municipality in Sweden. Surrounded by sea, rocks and forests, Lysekil offers adventurous outdoor activities - hiking, climbing mountains, bike paths and plenty of opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Other popular attractions are outdoor swimming at Kallbadhuset and Havsbadsparken, as well as Lysekil church, built in granite on a high hill overlooking the town. Oslo has a special combination of city life and easy access to the great outdoors. This provides lots of space for nature to thrive in the very heart of the metropolis. Kristiansand is the largest city in Southern Norway and attracts a lot of tourists every year. Kristiansand is a family destinations, focusing in activities and attractions for families, one of the largest if these being Dyreparken, a gigantic zoo and amusement park. Kristiansand Dyrepark is probably the favourite holiday destination for Norwegian kids.

Day 5 Stavanger, Norway

Stavanger is the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. The city centre of Stavanger is quite compact, with original dockside warehouses and pretty 18th-century streets climbing up from a bustling harbour, which makes it easy to reach most attractions on foot. On your walk you can easily stop by some of the city's many museums, such as the Norwegian Petroleum Museum, Stavanger museum of Fine Arts and the Norwegian Canning museum.

Day 6 Olden, Norway

Olden is located at the mouth of the Oldeelva river at the northern end of the Oldedalen valley on the southern shore of the Nordfjorden. Olden is the gateway to the Briksdal Glacier (Briksdalsbreen), which has made it a popular cruise ship destination. Olden also has easy access to several other arms of this glacier, including Kjenndal and the Boyabreen.

Day 7 Kristiansund, Norway

Kristiansund N. is a city and municipality on the western coast of Norway in the Nordmore district of More og Romsdal county. Kristiansund N. is built on four main islands that are connected by a series of bridges. The city center is located at Kirkelandet and the surrounding islands form a natural harbor protecting it from the harsh whether conditions of the Norwegian Sea.

Day 8 Trondheim, Norway

Trondheim was Norway's first capital city, beautifully located by the wide Trondheim fjord in mid Norway. Trondheim is popular as both a cultural and shopping destination, the city's downtown core is scattered with quaint specialty shops as well as larger retailers around the pedestrian-only Nordre and Olav Tryggvasons gates.

Day 10 Hammerfest, Norway

The World's northernmost city with over 9,000 inhabitants, Hammerfest, is a municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The square in Hammerfest (Sommertorget) is at the heart of the town centre, a few minutes' walk from the express liner quay and the quay area where cruise ships and express ferries berth. Streets are buzzing with life and there is a great deal of activity here in the summer, both from local residents and travellers.

Day 11 Honningsvag, Norway

The Port of Honningsvag is a very small port, the most northernmost city in Norway and gateway to Nordkapp (North Cape). All cruise docks are just a few minutes walk from the main street of Honningsvag, near shopping, restaurants and activities. Tunneled into the rock behind the cliffs sits Nordkapphallen, a visitor center with a souvenir shop, a post office, and a restaurant/cafe.

Day 12 Tromso, Norway

Tromso, a city in Norway, is a major cultural hub 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. It's famed as a viewing point for colorful Northern Lights, with a season that last from September throughout March. The city's historic center, on the island of Tromso, is distinguished by its centuries-old wooden houses. Located in the Lofoten Islands, Leknes is known as the trading and shopping center of the islands and can cater to a variety of interests. The natural surroundings of the town are regarded to be among the most stunning in Norway, with mountains, peaks, cliffs and white sandy beaches.

Alesund is adventure capital of the Fjords, named Norway's most beautiful city. Some of the most spectacular buildings are located around the area Brosundet, in Kongens Gate, Brunholmen and Kirkegata. After devastating fire a new town rose phoenix-like from the ashes - in the distinctive Art Nouveau style.

Day 16 Lerwick, Scotland

Lerwick is the main port of the Shetland Islands, Scotland, located more than 100 miles off the north coast of mainland Scotland on the east coast of the Shetland Mainland. Lerwick is home to an impressive collection of interesting attractions and places of historic significance with much to intrigue the curiosity of visitors to the city.

Invergordon is a town and port in Easter Ross, in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland. Take a short walk into the town center and you'll find impressive murals, overflowing flowerboxes, small shops, cafes, banks, and friendly people happy to have a wee chat.
