Day 0 Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is a popular tourist destination for both new and returning visitors all year. Many cruise ships arriving in the Dutch capital berth at the unique premises of Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA). There is a fairytale quality to the tree-lined canal streets of Amsterdam. Boutiques, cafes, apartments, and hotels may hide behind the facades of the gabled townhouses, but the look of this beautiful old city has not changed much since its 17th-century Golden Age.

Day 2 Geiranger, Norway

This third biggest cruise ship port in Norway, Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia. Geiranger boasts one of the most magnificent settings in western Norway and the village itself negotiates the steepest of hillsides, its scattering of houses built on a series of narrow shelves. Tours of the nearby historic farms of Knivsfla and Skagefla are available from Geiranger.

Day 3 Molde, Norway

Molde is the administrative centre for the county of More and Romsda, Norway. Molde have various educational facilities as well as offering many cultural activities, including an international literature festival (Bjornson Festival) and the famous annual Molde International Jazz Festival.

Day 5 Honningsvag, Norway

The Port of Honningsvag is a very small port, the most northernmost city in Norway and gateway to Nordkapp (North Cape). All cruise docks are just a few minutes walk from the main street of Honningsvag, near shopping, restaurants and activities. Tunneled into the rock behind the cliffs sits Nordkapphallen, a visitor center with a souvenir shop, a post office, and a restaurant/cafe.

Day 6 Tromso, Norway

Tromso, a city in Norway, is a major cultural hub 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. It's famed as a viewing point for colorful Northern Lights, with a season that last from September throughout March. The city's historic center, on the island of Tromso, is distinguished by its centuries-old wooden houses. Here you find art, history, sophistication, good food and an infamous nightlife in a bustling, tiny city.

Day 7 Arctic Circle, Norway

The Arctic Circle, the most northerly of the five major circles cuts through Nordland and acts as the frontier for the Arctic kingdom of midnight sun and dark months. The region north of this circle is known as the Arctic, and the zone just to the south is called the Northern Temperate Zone. North of the Arctic Circle, the sun is above the horizon for twenty-four continuous hours at least once per year and therefore visible at midnight.

Day 8 Flam, Norway

Flam is situated at the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord. Centrally located in the fjord region, Flam offers some of the most popular attractions in Norway. Flam and Aurland are two of four harbours that welcome cruise ships to Aurland Harbour Authority. Flamsbana or the Flam Railway, is widely recognized as one of the steepest and most beautiful railways in the world.

Day 9 Alesund, Norway

Alesund is adventure capital of the Fjords, named Norway's most beautiful city. Some of the most spectacular buildings are located around the area Brosundet, in Kongens Gate, Brunholmen and Kirkegata. After devastating fire a new town rose phoenix-like from the ashes - in the distinctive Art Nouveau style.

Day 10 Olden, Norway

Olden is located at the mouth of the Oldeelva river at the northern end of the Oldedalen valley on the southern shore of the Nordfjorden. Olden is the gateway to the Briksdal Glacier (Briksdalsbreen), which has made it a popular cruise ship destination. Olden also has easy access to several other arms of this glacier, including Kjenndal and the Boyabreen.

Day 11 Bergen, Norway

Bergen, situated between the longest fjord Sognefjord and the beautiful Hardangerfjord is a popular cruise destination and the leading cruise port in Norway. This stunning destination is home to some of the country's top museums and galleries, so it's a fantastic place to learn more about the colourful characters that helped shape Norway's history and culture.
